Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to common questions about Tint or Henna (PMU Add-on).
Tint typically lasts three to six weeks depending on hair texture and aftercare. Henna often lasts four to six weeks on hair and up to two weeks on skin. Results vary with skin type, oiliness, exfoliation, and your maintenance routine.
We recommend waiting at least two weeks after fresh PMU before tinting or henna to ensure proper healing. If your PMU is fully healed, a patch test is still advised to check for sensitivities and to select compatible pigments and timing.
Tinting and henna color the natural hairs and skin surface without altering the pigment implanted by PMU. Henna can temporarily darken surrounding skin, so we match shades carefully and coordinate with your PMU artist if you’re concerned about blending.
Arrive with clean, makeup-free brows. Avoid brow waxing, tinting, chemical peels, retinoids, and excessive sun exposure for at least 48–72 hours prior. Disclose medications and recent treatments so we can customize timing and pigment choice for optimal, safe results.
Keep brows dry and avoid heavy sweating, swimming, saunas, and oil-based cleansers for 24–48 hours. Gently cleanse after that and avoid exfoliating products on the area. Follow our recommended tint/henna care to preserve color and prolong results.
Yes—this add-on pairs well with brow shaping, waxing, lamination, or PMU touch-ups. Tell us when booking so we can allocate time and coordinate pigments. Some combinations may require different timing to protect fresh PMU or avoid irritation.
