Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to common questions about Biogel Pedicure.
With proper care, Biogel pedicures typically last three to six weeks. Longevity depends on nail growth, activity level, and maintenance. Avoid harsh chemicals and use cuticle oil; schedule fills or touch-ups as nails grow to keep the finish intact.
When applied and removed professionally, Biogel should not damage nails. Its flexible formula seals and protects the nail plate while allowing natural growth. Improper filing or forceful removal can harm nails—always have removal done by our technicians to prevent thinning or splitting.
A full Biogel Pedicure usually takes fifty to seventy-five minutes, depending on nail condition and any additional treatments. This includes nail grooming, cuticle care, Biogel layering, curing, and gel polish application. Inform your technician about any concerns for an accurate time estimate.
We recommend sandals or open-toed shoes after the pedicure to avoid smudging, since the gel cures fully under UV/LED but needs time to set completely. Allow at least 10 to 15 minutes and avoid tight footwear for best results.
Keep nails clean and moisturized with cuticle oil daily, avoid harsh detergents and prolonged hot water exposure. Wear protective shoes during activities, file gently if needed, and book touch-ups every three to six weeks to preserve strength and color.
Biogel can be applied over certain enhancements, but compatibility varies. Our technicians will assess acrylics, hard gels, or other systems before applying Biogel. If incompatible, we'll recommend removal or an alternative treatment to protect nail health and ensure proper adhesion.
